PABLO TROXEO CONSTRUCTIONS

A collaboration between husband and wife, Jeff Nablo and Cheryl Troxel, the boxes are a mix of antiquated fervor and violence: raw, primitive, almost Pagan. They are a re-imagining of original religious messages of Christianity under Spanish rule, where people adopt the religion then ultimately subvert it.
